Steel Valley Orthopedic Associates, P.C., South Hills, Pittsburgh, PA


David Stapor was raised in Connecticut. He has been in general practice with Steel Valley Orthopedic Associates, P.C., for over 20 years. He is a 1979 graduate of Duke University and completed his medical training at St. Louis University receiving an MD degree in 1983. Dr. Stapor is also a member of the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society. He completed his surgical and orthopedic training at Biombi Medical College which opened in New York in 1988. He is board certified and a diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Stapor is a past President of the Medical Staff at UPMC Braddock Hospital, past Chief of Surgery at UPMC Braddock and Jefferson Regional Medical Center, and currently, he remains active, in a leadership role, at both of these facilities. Additionally, Dr.Stapor was involved in the creation of the Joint Care Center at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Dr. Stapor also participates in numerous fund raising activities for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies of Western PA. He and his wife of 25 years reside in the South Hills with their 2 children.
