A native of Brentwood, PA, Amy has been practicing as a certified physician assistant (PA) with Steel Valley Orthopedic Associates for five years. Prior to working as a PA, Amy attended Slippery Rock University and obtained her BS degree in Athletic Training and then attended the University of Pittsburgh to obtain her MS degree in Sports Medicine. She worked as a certified athletic trainer for three years at South Fayette High School. She chose to further her education and completed her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham College in 2003. Amy has worked for the practice since her graduation, assisting the doctors in the operating room and office/hospital setting. Amy and her husband reside in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and have one son. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and exercising.
